Jacques Adnet rare rectangular coffee table wrapped in saddle-sticthed leather with glass top and ending in slightly curved cabriole legs and brass ball feet, France, 1950s. This particular faux bamboo design model is very rare with these curved legs and in good original condition.

This modernist coffee table is a fine example of iconic French post-war Adnet design in which pieces of furniture, lighting and accessories were meticulously clad in saddle-stitched leather or skaï. Adnet’s style of modern furnishings exhibited the avant-garde design and impeccable craftsmanship of French midcentury design which still resonates today.
