34 H x 35 ½ W x 18 ¼ D in (86.4 x 90.2 x 46.4 cm)

Rare two-drawer commode, dresser or chest of drawers covered in original black saddle-stitched skaï with faux bamboo legs and brass drawer pulls. This collector’s commode has remained in completely original and excellent condition and is free of tears or other significant damage to the original skaï. It’s a fine example of iconic French post-war Adnet design in which pieces of furniture, lighting and accessories were meticulously clad in saddle-stitched skaï. Adnet’s style of modern furnishings exhibited the avant-garde design and impeccable craftsmanship of French midcentury design which still resonates today.
