Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte rare elegant adjustable rose colored acid-etched crystal table lamps or sconces shaped like clams with patinated brass hinges and base. The rose crystal top and colorless crystal bottom are connected by a sculptural brass hinge on base which opens and closes to reveal the pearl-shaped lightbulb inside. This exquisite design exemplifies the impeccable craftsmanship of Fontana Arte under the artistic direction of Max Ingrand in Italy during the 1950s.
