Important large 43-light chandelier, model 1155/43, with alternating brass and aluminum tubular arms suspended from black enameled aluminum structure. There are two tiers of brass and aluminum tubes separated by the aluminum structure in a wheel spoke design. The top tier consists of alternating tubular arms of the same size of 4 inches. The bottom tier consists of alternating tubular arms which come in 4 different sizes: 2.75, 7.5, 11, and 13 inches. Fully restored to its original beauty and rewired to U.S. standards.
This grand chandelier, especially when lit looks majestic and spectacular – a unique masterpiece in lighting design with striking combination of gold, silver and black and the magical glow of its multiple lights. This chandelier is extremely rare and one of Stilnovo’s most important early lighting fixtures documented on a full page of Stilnovo’s catalogue (see last image)
