Seguso Vetri d’Arte midcentury rare and exquisite large scale pair of three arm sconces in Murano iredescent gold blown glass mounted on original brass mounts, Italy, 1950s. These elegant classical pair of Murano glass wall lights are bold in scale with lovely blown glass details throughout. Each of the tulip-shaped cup lights has beautiful floral glass motif details including scalloped lower cups and attached leaves on curved stems which all meet at the decorative semi-circular brass mount with scalloped top and bottom edges. They are reminiscent of a bouquet of flowers. Truly an impressive Murano glass design, these extraordinary wall lights will make quite a statement piece in any interior.

These Seguso Vetri d’Arte model sconces were created for the Hotel Bristol, Merano, 1953-54. The building was built in the 1950s by Arnaldo Bennati based on a design by the Venetian architect Marino Meo who collaborated with Seguso Vetri d’Arte of Murano for the creation of the lighting.
